Hotel Mea - Aeolian Charme Lipari , Lipari (Isola Lipari)

The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms, with a comfortable setup featuring 1 king size bed and two single beds. The service was exceptionally efficient and courteous, although not as friendly as experienced in other places. The location is on the edge of town, providing a relaxing atmosphere with reasonable prices for drinks. The dining experience varied from poor quality to wonderful with a range of choices. The hotel facilities were good overall.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were very clean and pleasant with a Mediterranean decor, my room was small, dark, and located next to the road. The service was really nice, and the staff, especially Olga and the lovely cleaning ladies, were welcoming and helpful. The location of the hotel was great, just a 5-minute walk from the port and main street, offering a wonderful view of the bay. The service was all pleasant, with the staff being very friendly, polite, and welcoming. The location was just delightful, on a hill with plenty of sun beds and great views of the sea at mealtimes. The dining experience was excellent, with plenty of delicious options, including typically Sicilian dishes. The facilities were also top-notch, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is elevated over the town, offering relaxing vibes with a bar for ordering snacks and is convenient, quiet, and near the center of the town. I could walk to the very lively old port of Lipari, though communication was a bit challenging. The dining experience in the morning had room for improvement, as the buffet wasn’t refilled promptly, and I had to ask for plates. The facilities were decent, and the staff, including Santo, Alessandro, and the chef (whose name I unfortunately don’t remember), were all very friendly and helpful.
